Installation of Phono Cartridges
In addition to selling a carefully selected selection of phono cartridges, there is the possibility to have a cartridge professionally installed.
To get the most out of the cartridge and your vinyl collection, a correct installation is essential.
This can be done at Shibata Audio in Amsterdam or, for a fee, at your home. The advantage of this is that the turntable does not have to be transported, with possible damage or disruption of the adjustment as a result.
Naast de verkoop van een zorgvuldig samengestelde selectie van phono cartridges, is er de mogelijkheid om een cartridge vakkundig te laten monteren.
Om het mooiste uit de cartridge én uw vinyl collectie te halen, is een juiste afstelling essentieel.
Dit kan zowel bij Shibata Audio in Amsterdam als, tegen een vergoeding, bij u thuis. Het voordeel hiervan is dat de platenspeler niet vervoerd hoeft te worden, met mogelijke schade of ontregeling van de afstelling als gevolg.

Vanuit een passie voor luisteren naar muziek op vinyl, ontstond een zoektocht naar een echt live geluid. Mijn doel is om naar de nuances in de muziek te luisteren in plaats van naar hifi apparatuur, om zoveel mogelijk de werkelijke klankkleuren van stemmen en instrumenten te benaderen.
Na jarenlang zorgvuldig mixen en matchen, ben ik uitgekomen op HANA en ZYX phono cartridges in combinatie met passieve Step Up Transformatoren. De uiteindelijke resultaten zijn spectaculair.
